This bookandcassette combination covers the main events and turning points of King's life and death. Both are dramatically portrayed through the vocal interpretation of the text, the illustrations and the various sound effects interjected during key scenes. One side has the sound of a turning page to cue the listener to turn the page. The other side contains the reading without page cues. The narrator clearly enunciates in a deep, strong African-American voice, steadily pacing his reading and allowing brief stops between pages.
