PINOCCHIO

Music by the Les Miserables Brass Band provides a Mediterranean feeling for Pinocchio's adventures. This Italian folktale about the puppet who magically comes to life has been presented in a myriad of ways. Unfortunately, this new audio presentation brings nothing new, exciting or interesting. Academy Award nominee Danny Aiello tries his best, but his voice is simply dull. Every one of his characters sounds like a native of Brooklyn. There's no excitement, astonishment or wonder imparted in his interpretation. Children and adults used to more engaging narrative will be disappointed with this audio presentation.
