CHINA'S MEGATRENDS The 8 Pillars of a New Society

John Naisbitt is well known for his groundbreaking 1982 book, MEGATRENDS, which fairly accurately described how the new Information Age would change American culture. He and his wife have now set their sights on China and are predicting the nation’s explosive growth if the Chinese can harness their intellectual and political energy. Narrator Lloyd James speaks with a seriousness of purpose although he lightens his tone with a soft lilt. James uses his voice appropriately for emphasis, and he pauses after main ideas to allow them to settle in the listener’s mind before moving on.
