FATAL JOURNEY The Final Expedition of Henry Hudson

Of all the tragedies that befell Arctic explorers during the Age of Discovery, Henry Hudson's is among of the most mysterious: Why did the crew of his 1611 voyage mutiny, setting Hudson, his teenage son, and six others adrift in a small boat, never to be seen again? Christopher Prince narrates FATAL JOURNEY with enthusiasm, doing his best to extract what little drama there is in the writing. With the exception of a few passages that relate the Englishmen's encounters with Inuits, much of the story is surprisingly dry for an Arctic adventure.
