BELLADONNA

In this deliciously seductive tale of revenge, Tim Curry swooshes and glides along the narrative, giving listeners a taste of the decadent ambience in which Belladonna takes place. Just before WWII, Isabella Ariel Nickerson's innocence is taken by a group of noblemen who call themselves The Club. By the 1950's, she has changed her name to Belladonna and begun taking her meticulous revenge upon the men who violated her. Curry is excellent in his portrayal of the heroine and equally as convincing as the narrator, a castrato whom Belladonna has befriended. If you're in the mood for vengeance, Belladonna hits the spot.
