This recording is such a pleasure to listen to that the resolution of the mystery becomes a secondary concern. Writer and performer share the credit for this. The writer has produced a wonderful series of character sketches strung on the thread of a murder mystery. The performer has grasped perfectly what the writer was about and projects it to the listener with virtuosity. Peters can create a convincing character with only the lightest shift in her voice.
