He visits professors studying neutrinos on an ice-covered lake in Siberia and journeys to the Very Large Telescope high in the mountains of eastern Chile. Mixing the odysseys of discovery with the men collecting the data creates a novel learning experience. Narrator L.J. Ganser takes just the right approach.
