THE BRADSHAW VARIATIONS

Now that he’s a househusband, Thomas Bradshaw has decided to learn to play the piano. The story also involves three middle-aged brothers, their families, and their parents. Narrator Juanita McMahon gives each family member a lively distinction. She skillfully differentiates the generations and highlights the author’s subtle humor. Most enjoyable to hear about is how different the parents' marriage is from their sons' and how many variations there can be within one "normal" family.
