Cassandra Morris narrates with a gentle understanding and enthusiasm well suited to Rylant’s early reader. Morris’s voice is child-friendly. She speaks distinctly and slowly but with a fast enough pace to maintain the excitement of the moments of bird watching. Cheeping on a Saturday pancake morning couldn’t be heard by a cozier family!
