MYTHS AND MYSTERIES IN ARCHAEOLOGY

This is a fine example of an audio lecture course, in part because of Susan Johnston’s audible enthusiasm. She analyzes everything from Atlantis to alien visitation through a scientific eye, summarizing the subtleties of that approach in the earlier lectures and then applying them to Stonehenge, ESP, ancient Egypt, just who visited America before Columbus, and other strange phenomena—and then caps it all with a presentation on “Genuine Archaeological Mysteries.” In the world of audiobook lectures, this is a “7” or an “8” on a scale of “1 to 10.” (That means, gentle listeners, it’s better than most!)
