[ENGLISH TRANSLATION]--This collection of short stories centers on the theme of the outsider. The feeling of being out of place is explored in different settings and circumstances, such as the reality of being Jewish in Guatemala or the upheaval experienced by a child when he immigrates to the U.S. from Guatemala. Narrator Walter Krochmal does an outstanding job, particularly in the stories involving children. In these his tone and inflection truly transport the listener into the mind and world of a child.
