Juanita McMahon's dramatic voice and precise British accent are a hypnotizing combination in this beautifully presented story of faith, love, and family. Luca, handsome and wealthy but disenchanted with life, visits his parents in their home, the recently restored Palazzo Montelimone, in the town of Incantellaria in Italy. While there, he must find answers to generations-old questions surrounding the palazzo in order to help the woman he loves and rediscover what really matters in his life. McMahon captures each character, as well as the novel’s drama and humor, whimsy and mystery, making the listener yearn for Italy while enjoying a truly superb performance. Not to be missed.
