ROOTS OF HEALING

This three-part series addresses the future of health care. Authorities consulted include Bernie Siegel and Deepak Chopra. The first part focuses on doctors and patients, the second part discusses life-threatening illnesses. The third part covers healing practices from around the world. Topics are covered through interviews and conversations with more than twenty health care professionals. Chopra is particularly engaging. Several of the speakers refer to multicultural medicine and the effect of community, citing findings to support their beliefs.
