ROSE'S GARDEN

After fifty years of marriage to Rose, Conrad is left a widower, mourning his loss and deliberating his future. His despair and adjustment portage him to a new life. Jeremy Gage recites Conrad's thoughts, plaiting past and present events with decorous and mature diction. Conrad gains a new vitality through a somewhat mystical event that introduces us to the remainder of the cast. Gage's female voice inclines to sound contrived and less genuine.
