HOW TO BEAT A BAD BREAKUP

Estelle Miles has been having a bad week. She’s stuck in a nowhere job on the lowest-rated TV station in Tampa, Florida. At 37, she’s stuck on that long march through middle age. And now she’s just stuck—as the love of her life, or at least the last three years, has gotten a big promotion and has dropped her like a hot potato. There’s nothing subtle about Shayna Lance’s over-the top narration of her second novel. Her reading is funny and boisterous, and it provides more than a few suggestions about how to deal with deadbeat, worthless, cheating ex-lovers.
