A charming, classic English country house mystery is brought to life in this radio dramatization. Hercule Poirot investigates the poisoning of a young woman following the death of a wealthy widow. Poirot is given a charming, astute characterization without overdoing it. The full cast of actors and complete sound track vividly create scenes, adding dimension a single narrator cannot. Gossipy whispering among servants, musical bridges and quick scene changes to advance the plot effectively build suspense and suspicion.
