CRASHERS

by | Read by David LeDoux

Mystery & Suspense • 11.5 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2010

A plane crashes, and the investigation into it begins. Determining the cause requires immediate action from the experts of the National Transportation Safety Board. Tommy, a pathologist who is first on the scene, coordinates efforts efficiently. Soon others arrive, each with a specialized skill. Separately, Daria, a deep-cover agent working with the FBI, is on the trail of Irish terrorists in Los Angeles. The stories merge flawlessly as narrator David LeDoux weaves global accents for those involved. Daria, from the Mideast, has a curt voice with an emotionless tone as she deals with the volatile Irishmen. Tommy’s boss, Susan, speaks in a clipped voice. The best, though, is Tommy, a drawling, tired Texan. The action is good, the detail is better, and the voices are great. M.B. © AudioFile 2010, Portland, Maine [Published: AUGUST 2010]
