SCHOOL FOR THE BLIND

Francis Brimm has retired and returned to his hometown of Pines, Florida, where his older sister, Muriel, lives in the family home. Their discovery of the bones of two murdered students from the nearby blind school acts as a catalyst for realizations about their lives. William Schallert gives an unvoiced reading, which at first, is somewhat rushed; soon he settles into a steady pace. He gives emotional color to the narrative through inflection and tone.
