LONG WAY HOME

George is no stranger to the foster care system—he’s been in a handful of different homes, with no hope of permanence. Michael Maloney’s soft narration brings George’s insecurity to the forefront as he travels to his newest home with the Dyer family. There he meets Tom and his younger sister, Storme, whose exuberance and youthful energy are aptly portrayed through Maloney’s delightful British accent. George slowly comes to feel accepted, and when an accident leaves his place in the household up in the air, he makes a decision that affects the entire family.
