THE RIVALRY: MYSTERY AT THE ARMY-NAVY GAME

Budding sportswriters Stevie Thomas and Susan Carol Anderson are back, this time with the assignment to cover the historic Army-Navy college football game. Author John Feinstein narrates his latest sports mystery in much the same way the whodunit plays out—flatly and predictably. That being said, his interest in the famed annual showdown is obvious, and even the most ardent sports fan will be drawn into the fanfare and tradition surrounding the game, if not the action. Stevie and Susan Carol meet many recognizable figures through their coverage of the game (including Barack Obama) and once again save the day, this time by foiling a plot set up to interfere with the integrity of the distinguished rivalry.
