Personal Growth • 2 hrs. • Abridged • © 1996

The author suggests that your gender and your birth order, that is, whether you are an only child or the youngest, oldest or middle child, are the base of your personality. These touch everything in your life, including the type of spouse you choose. The explanation is broken down into many different scenarios, such as "the older brother of a sister" or "the youngest sister of two older brothers" and so on, making it very intricate, but more believable. While the readers do an adequate job of leading the listener through the maze of birth order possibilities and outcomes, this is not an "easy-listening" tape. You can learn something by listening, but if you get distracted, you'll get lost. E.W.S. ©AudioFile, Portland, Maine [Published: NOV/DEC 96]
