BITING THE MOON

A young and pretty teenager wakes up in an unfamiliar New Mexico bed and breakfast with a severe case of amnesia. Determined to unravel this mystery and claim her identity at all costs, she interrogates local townspeople for clues. Vague indicators direct her to Idaho; so, with the help of a newly found 14-year-old friend, Mary Dark Hope, she nicknames herself "Andy," and sets out for the unknown. Bernadette Dunne's narration features perfect diction, faultless clarity and impeccable timing. However, her constrained performance separates the listener from all the action with a reserved and monotone performance that leaves one aching for character diversity and illustrative emotion.
