ONE ROUGH MAN

The latest Pike Logan thriller is a hodgepodge of clichés and themes. But thanks to an exciting narration by JD Jackson as Pike Logan and Neil Kaplan as the other numerous characters, the implausible story still captivates. The story involves an alleged ancient weapon of mass destruction that is being sought by a ruthless Latin smuggler, Arab terrorists, a U.S. black-ops team, and a traitor at the highest level of the U.S. government. Jackson steals the show with the irrepressible Logan. When Logan is enraged, watch out! Kaplan's versatile portrayals of the bulk of characters are well done. Men and women are accurately depicted.
