These 1969 talks by the former professor and therapist Richard Alpert describe how people can achieve inner peace and create authentic personal fulfillment by being fully present in their lives. Ram Dass is often connected to LSD advocate Timothy Leary, so his initial statements and presence seem as cryptic as one might expect. Yet as his talks continue, he sounds more available to his audience and genuinely concerned with helping them find authentic ways to live and relate to others.
