IMMANUEL'S VEINS

In the seventeenth century Catherine the Great of Russia sends warriors Toma and Alec to Moldavia to protect Countess Cassia and her twin daughters, especially beautiful, innocent Lucine. When Toma falls in love with Lucine, he risks all to save her. Chris Andrews's versatile range and skill lend authenticity to Dekker's romantic suspense, which involves Nephilim, "giants of old" mentioned in Genesis; vampires; and blood lust. Andrews uses differing vocal styles and accents to skillfully depict natural and supernatural characters in a story of the power of redemption.
