MYSTERY MAN

The Belfast owner of No Alibis Bookstore returns—more eccentric and hilarious than ever. Narrator Stephen Armstrong vividly portrays his paranoia and hypochondria—along with his passions for Twix bars and Starbucks. And even though the protagonist remains nameless throughout this first-person account, Armstrong depicts him with verve and personality. Further, his skillful presentation of various other personalities with a range of backgrounds also enlivens a diverse cast. Hearing the rich Irish accents on audio is ideal for this fast-paced mystery. Laughter abounds as authors, publishers, and booksellers are skewered.
