AT HOME WITH THE TEMPLETONS

The Templetons are a British family that has been transplanted to Australia to claim their family inheritance, Templeton Hall, which they subsequently turn into a Colonial-period home to attract tourists. Ulli Birve expertly portrays the quirky family members and their Australian neighbors—from the curious and childlike Gracie Templeton, the youngest daughter of the family, to the haughty, inebriated aunt. The story spans 16 years in the Templetons’ lives, years that lead to love lost and found and an unraveling of the string of lies that hold them all together.
