THE SWITCH

Gillian and Melina, identical twins, trade places for an evening. One sleeps with a Native American astronaut; the other is murdered after being artificially inseminated at a bogus fertility clinic run by an evil cult leader, so her sister hunts for the killer in the company of the astronaut. The convoluted plot might have been rescued by a slower pace, better abridgment, more polished phrasing, and vocal diferentiation of characters. Much more could have been done with the villain, at least. Brown's many fans and those who want a quick, entertaining listen may enjoy this tape; the rest will side with the lawman who says at one point, "Jeez, this gets confusing."
