HOW TO ESCAPE FROM A LEPER COLONY

The U.S. Virgin Islands and the variety of postcolonial experiences lived by their inhabitants are the basis for Tiphanie Yanique’s debut story collection. It can be difficult to differentiate short stories from one another in audio, but this production and the skill of its narrators makes the delineations clear. All the narrators give solid performances, with Robin Miles and Dion Graham standing out for their fluidity with various accents and their ability to differentiate characters.
