Braugher's straightforward portrayals of Cross and his cronies are outstanding, and Grenier's accents and characterizations of the villains are chilling. A kidnapper's insane laugh reaches right into your gut. Sound effects—music, gunshots, car chases—all contribute to the fast-paced action.
