TINY'S HAT

In recent years, children's picture book authors discovered jazz as fertile territory for books for the youngest readers. The tragic childhood of Billie Holiday was Ann Grifalconi's inspiration for the fictional TINY'S HAT. The music of a blues-playing father is married to the story of an abandoned child whose only lasting connection with her father is is bowler hat and his haunting music.
