Narrator Rose Anne Shansky's well-modulated voice brings to life the colorful and complex world of the thoroughbred-racing set. Shansky portrays the numerous characters of both genders with skilled inflection and slight accents. Her interpretation of an obstinate and bitter grandmother is excellent.
