Three people come together in Lausanne, Switzerland: An American woman in the world's oldest profession, a British detective with no memory prior to a few weeks earlier, and a simple young French-Canadian man who watches over a cathedral. Jonathan Davis’s narration is outstanding. He balances the distinct accents of the three principals while deftly portraying Russian, Swiss, and French characters.
