Walter Koenig, "Star Trek's" Ensign Pavel Chekov, has come a long way since his neurotic school days. With warmth, humor, scatology and frankness, he describes a long and interesting life; most recently he has been appearing in "Babylon 5" and has also written, produced and acted in various plays and films. Though he is descended from Russian immigrants, he is not one himself, and only when making a humorous aside does he invoke Ensign Chekov's accent.
