WE REMEMBER D-DAY

The Shaws have collected a large number of reminiscences of those who participated in, or witnessed, the events of June 6, 1944. Service personnel and civilians, male and female, have all shared in presenting these personal accounts of D-Day. Most of these accounts are from British participants, with only a few American recollections. The three skilled readers make this recording an auditory delight. The listener is treated to a full range of British accents that make each account unique. However, when attempting American accents, the readers will probably sound strange to folks on this side of the Atlantic. All in all, this production presents the personal side of D-Day.
