THE GREEN-EYED GHOST

by | Read by David Rhorpe

Children Ages 8+ • 55 mins. • Unabridged • © 1984

Tub has seen a ghost cat, but his friends, Skid and Lippy, don’t believe him. Narrator David Rhorpe’s voice is filled with “attitude” as he portrays good friends who are in the midst of a disagreement. His charming English accent captures the setting of the story. When Tub begins to read a book whose pages turn themselves, he accidentally conjures the witch the ghost cat once belonged to. Skid and Lippy get more than they bargained for when they come to see Tub’s ghost cat at midnight. Rhorpe’s shrill voicing of the angry ghost provides the requisite chills and shivers. Tub must find a way to send the ghost back before dawn, or she’ll be with him forever. A.M.P. © AudioFile 2012, Portland, Maine [Published: JULY 2012]
