In this latest installment, Brad Thor’s main character, Scot Harvath, finds himself on a list of traitors who are being systematically killed. Scot keeps a terrifying pace across Europe and America, one step ahead of the many assassins sent to kill him. George Guidall’s compelling delivery of the multifaceted plot carries the listener seamlessly through the action. The Internet is front and center here, and Thor implies that it could be destroyed and replaced with a system that could track each citizen’s every move. Guidall’s rich voice supplies the emotional depth necessary to sustain the many characters that drive this plot forward.
