WHEN WORK DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE

Elizabeth Perle McKenna explores the thesis that women (and men) "can't have it all," as long as the measure of success remains the traditional male model. McKenna sets a stiff pace although she relaxes a bit when she draws upon anecdotes from her research to illustrate her points. Her slight lisp and sometimes strained voice betray the fact that she's not a professional reader. A notice that it's time to switch sides would be welcome, and there's some unevenness in volume from side to side. However, these are minor distractions.
