WHERE THE RIVER RUNS

The romance and ruggedness of the American frontier make an exciting setting for this love story. Captain Jed Owen is lost among the Native American nations of the Northwest, and his fiancée sets out to find him. The reading is enhanced by the use of French accents and Native American dialect when appropriate. Descriptive passages of conditions on the plains help to set the scenes and add to the listening experience.
