What if parts of your body--such as your hands for instance--suddenly decided that they wanted to sever their connections with you and be free? This is the horrifying premise of Clive Barker's "The Body Politic" from his 1984 collection The Inhuman Condition. Conway's narration is vivid and perfectly paced to heighten the suspense of this frightening tale of bodily rebellion. Music and 3-D sound effects complement the verbal performance.
