THE WIDOW'S MITE AND OTHER STORIES

In this collection each story focuses on an eccentric character from the Deep South of the past or present. Readers Sally Darling and Murphy Guyer alternate duties, according to the gender of the main character in each first-person narrative. Darling's bright performance and native Southern accent provide a good match for Sams's quirky and detailed dialogues. Guyer's smooth, deep voice provides emotional balance for the twists and turns of the plots.
