DIE A STRANGER

by | Read by Dan John Miller

Mystery & Suspense • 9 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2012

Vinnie LeBlanc has been missing, and his best friend Alex McKnight is worried. Alex has long respected Vinnie’s even-keeled presence in their sparsely populated Michigan town, and as a former cop, Alex’s radar is resonating over the coincidence of Vinnie’s absence and the recent deaths at a remote nearby airstrip. It seems unlikely that Vinnie, an undisruptive and deferential Ojibwa Indian, would be involved in the drug trafficking from Canada. Narrator Dan John Miller delivers this whodunit with a reverent touch for the Native American backdrop of the story. However, Miller’s voice sounds too young for the older Alex in this first-person narrative, but he compensates with impressive voices of the many Indian characters.
