ZOOBIQUITY What Animals Can Teach Us About Health and the Science of Healing

UCLA physician Barbara Natterson-Horowitz has been looking into animal diseases, behaviors, and conditions, seeking comparisons and insights into human medicine. From this work she developed "zoobiquity," the fusing of animal and human medicine. Karen White narrates the doctor's findings on topics ranging from rhino leukemia to self-mutilating stallions with the excited tone of scientific discovery. The doctor candidly examines many aspects of anatomy and physiology—such as dinosaur penises and their connection to modern human males.
