WINDFALL

by | Read by Jack Klaff

Fiction • 10 hrs. • Unabridged • © 1982

An intriguing chess game of international espionage is played out mostly in Kenya by American, British and South African interests. Klaff's narration perfectly conveys the stalking, waiting, and seeing "what the other guys do." He masters the many accents with ease, but this international cast is not for listeners who prefer American voices. For those who enjoy cat-and-mouse intrigue the story is tops and the narration enhances it. The colorful characters and Kenyan location are brought alive with Klaff's narration. He tunes his pace and timing to the flow of the story. An excellent example of how an audiobook can revive an older story and put it to the top of selection lists.
