This is a to-the-point audio program that listeners will find difficult to dismiss. The material is organized into nine lessons on such basic centering practices as breathing, digesting, sleeping, and reflecting. The lessons have a Zen-like quality as they relate more to primitive human functions than to typical Western strategies for balancing work and nonwork activities. Though the message is powerful, the audio sounds weak because the production is so awful. The author is clear speaking and sounds earnest enough to he taken seriously, but the recording quality is poor. Yet days after hearing it, a lot of people will continue to ask themselves why they eat so poorly or try to get anything done on so little sleep.
