Listeners intrigued by the enigmatic Mr. Clark, who pops up now and then in other Clancy novels, will enjoy this adventure set in the early '70's. John Kelly, a former Navy SEAL, AKA Mr. Clark, is recalled to rescue American POWs. Michael Prichard reads the story with expression and fine pacing. Listeners often have difficulty keeping track of Clancy's many shifts of scene and character. Prichard guides the listener through the twists of the story, his voice perfectly capturing the confrontation between good and evil which characterizes Clancy's stories.
