Narrators Adenrele Ojo and Pamella D'Pella give impressive performances as they bring to life this engaging, funny, and poignant story. Three African-American women--lifelong friends--are dubbed "The Supremes" by the owner of the local diner in the southern Indiana town where they live. Adding to the lively, clever dialogue--distinctly performed and easily distinguishable--are the appearances of ghosts--including a reefer-toking mother and a raucous Eleanor Roosevelt--who speak to one of the Supremes.
