OTHER WOMAN

by | Read by Ilyana Kadushin

Mystery & Suspense • 13.5 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2012

This fast-paced mystery, set in Boston, translates well to audio. When Jane Ryland loses her job as a television reporter, she gets a newspaper reporting job that assigns her to Moira Kelly Lassiter, the wife of the former governor, who is now a candidate for the Senate. Narrator Ilyana Kadushin portrays the assorted characters in a clear but intimate voice that engages listeners in Jane's life, including a series of murders she is reporting on. As bodies turn up on the banks of the Charles River, Kadushin's delivery also adds credibility to Detective Jake Brogan's investigation of the murderer dubbed the "Bridge Killer." Kadushin capably distinguishes characters, often using a credible Boston accent, is appropriately dramatic, and switches pacing to fit the story.
