HOW I CAME TO SPARKLE AGAIN

Narrator Tanya Eby's smooth, pleasant voice breathes life into this lovely story of faith and learning to love again. Having suffered a miscarriage and then discovered her husband in bed with another woman, Jill runs home to Sparkle, Colorado. There, she helps care for Cassie, a young girl grieving the loss of her mother. Together both begin to heal. Eby uses tonal differences to portray the unique characters who inhabit the ski town of Sparkle. She is especially successful in her portrayal of Jill's male roommates and the "trashy neighbors" who inhabit the "Kennel," a trailer akin to a frat house.
