THE WELL OF TEARS

First-time novelist Trahan blends history and fantasy in this tale of Alwen, who returns to her homeland to fulfill her duty as a sorceress and protect its new ruler. Narrator Simon Vance is at home with complex stories and the need to assist listeners in keeping track of a multitude of characters. He is adept with the character and place names that are transported from Wales and Cornwall to the kingdom of Cymru and adopts accents suitable for the historical roots of the story.
